LAVINIA CO-OP

Our good friend and queen of the stage Lavinia Co-op is a talent to rival the best.

With a career that started in the 70s Lavinia has years of performance experience under her skirt, Lavinia boasts a broad and impressive resume: Highlights include the famous BLOOLIPS radical gay theatre group (1977 - 2002) in which she was a key member, and her work with Hot Peaches drag collective. From club-hosting to comedy and theatre pieces Lavinia has mastered it all.

Lavinia also travelled the world extensively from the 80s onwards as part of (infamous club promoter and diva) Suzanne Barsh’s ballroom which travelled from Tokyo to Venice to Vienna and beyond!

Part of Lavinia’s unique performance repertoire are her elaborate, humours and divers make-up, costumes, and stage presence. A chameleon of costume, she can transform herself elegantly into anything from a tap dancing banana to a glamorous movie star.

Most recently Lavinia featured in Jonny Woo’s Un-Royal Variety and you can often find her hosting at The BOX, Soho of an evening.

If you are interested in hiring Lavinia Co-op for walkabout or PA’s or would like to collaborate, or have her talk about her iconic status and queer life please contact us at info@vfdalston.com for rates and availability.
