Live Art Club is a twice-monthly open platform performance art evening at VFD. It is for anyone to come and join in, to watch, or to perform.
Live Art Club is open to artists at any stage in their practice: whether you have years of experience or have never tried performing before— and everyone in between. Live Art Club will always celebrate passion, risk and failure.
We encourage you to share a part of a new idea, an experiment in working with an audience, a way of moving your body, a series of sounds you’re excited by, an unexpected activation of the space, an interruption of tradition, guttural words that want to explode out of you, a re-performance of a forgotten idea and anything else that might look//feel//taste like Live Art.
It’s free for all to attend and witness what might happen…
There will be eight performance slots available. Each slot is ten minutes long. Four slots will be available to anyone to reserve online prior, and four slots will be allocated on the night (on a first come first serve basis).
Every 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at 7:30pm.
