‘Demanding not asking: TRANS RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS / FUND TRANS HEALTHCARE’

When trans rights are increasingly under threat in the UK there is no option but to continue to state basic facts- That trans rights are human rights and that trans people should have access to the spaces and healthcare that they need.

In looking to our past for LGBTQ+ history month we are reminded of where we’re at and in the UK right now trans rights have a long way to go. Anti-trans groups and individuals are lobbying to block trans people’s access to basic rights, spaces, and life-saving resources and treatments. Waiting lists for access to Gender Identity Clinics are currently three years and counting, a court ruling has stopped young people accessing puberty blockers and the UK Govt. ignored the results of the GRA consultation. Refusing any group of people of their rights is dangerous. Urgent action is required, cis allies step up; educate yourself, write to your MPs and donate.
