Kemah Bob
Kemah Bob (she/they) is a comedian, writer and producer from Houston, TX now based in London. Her work centers Black cultural identity, mental health, sexuality, gender, healing and well-being using entertainment as a tool for enlightenment and empowerment. They take inspiration from the sun and aim to spread love, light and warmth everywhere they go.
In addition to performing stand-up and hosting events in London and around the UK and beyond - including UK Black Pride - Kemah created, curates and hosts The FOC IT UP Comedy Club, events showcasing of Femmes of Colour in comedy.
She can be seen: hosting It’s A Sin - After Hours, co-hosting The Island (Dave 2021), on Richard Osman’s House of Games (2021), Question Team (Dave 2021), Stand Up For Live Comedy (BBC One), Jonathan Ross' Comedy Club (ITV), Don't Hate The Playaz and Stand-Up Sketch Show (all ITV2).
Sophie Duker
Sophie Duker is the kind of loudmouthed queer comedy cutie that right-wing trolls love to hate. Her first stand-up hour, Venus, gained her five star reviews and a nomination for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe. Duker is taking her newest show, Hag, across the country from February 2023, culminating in a homecoming show at the Leicester Square Theatre in London on 29 April. Expect both new experiments and old gold from her VFD set as she warms up the gags for her hotly anticipated UK tour.
Duker is the reigning Taskmaster champion (Channel 4) and winner of the 2021 Funny Women Best Comedy Writer Award. She is a regular panellist on Frankie Boyle’s New World Order (the latest season starts this autumn on BBC2) and has guested on countless British comedy entertainment shows including Live at The Apollo (BBC2), Mock the Week (BBC2), 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4) and Don't Hate The Playaz (ITV).
Duker founded and hosts the notorious Wacky Racists Comedy Club (@wackycomedyclub) and has previously hosted or guest-hosted multiple podcasts including the official BBC companion podcasts to Michaela Coel's I May Destroy You and Dolly Alderton's Everything I Know About Love.
