Monsoon: a season of transformation, renewal and unity. Monsoon Nights is a new club night designed to celebrate Queer South Asian identities in an inclusive environment. Built by the community for the community, the night aims to provide a safe(r) space for queer South Asians to foster friendships and share collective joy. Monsoon Nights was born from bonds forged within Bollyqueer, a dance class which nurtures self-expression and dismantles gender norms through dance.

Attending events alone can feel daunting. If you're coming solo and feeling nervous, we have a buddy up system to connect you with a friendly member of our team who will be able to greet you on the night. Reach out to us via email at MonsoonNights@outlook.com, and we'll make sure you feel warmly welcomed. We really want this to feel like a community space and are here to talk you through any concerns you may have.
Solidarity tickets: for allies or those who can afford to pay a higher ticket price to will help us keep this event sustainable and make it grow, so please consider this option if you can.
Pay-it-forward tickets: please consider this option if you would like to buy a ticket for someone who would find the ticket cost a barrier.

Venue accessibility information:
"We regretfully apologise that VFD is in a basement venue accessed by a staircase and therefore is not wheelchair accessible. The main space is accessed by a single staircase with 12 stairs that has a single bannister along the entire length. There are no steps or stairs once you are in the basement. There are two toilets in the basement space, each are gender neutral and have no steps to them. There is a smoking area downstairs that closes at 11pm, however if you have access needs, please tell staff and you are welcome to use the basement level smoking area throughout the night. There are benches along the space if you need to sit down. If there is anything we can do to facilitate your visit to vFd then please contact us on info@vfdalston.com and we will do our very best to help in advance and on the night."
