The Outsiders Gallery
We talk about “falling in love” – a trust fall. The moment you suspend your disbelief and hope that your loving gaze will be met and returned. But with time, you realise that as much as love is about a collapsing of boundaries, it’s about building something new, too.
Inspiring the audience to make associations with their take on
beauty and to be truly autonomous with who they want to be.
Everything is made from the lost and found, hand-me- downs, dregs of drag, precisely confused and infused with DIY tricks and a glue gun.
The work is an outlet. It is Art Therapy for Ninebob, it is a mental health necessity and a need for constant play and role play.
The process is where the ball starts and flows and finishes when mumma's bell rings for attention !!

WINDOW EXHIBIT
SUBMISSIONS
Our 'window gallery' is free of charge and changes monthly (please note - we are usually booked up several months in advance).
We are always looking for artists with bold and simple work for our window with ideas and themes that are accessible to all. As we are not a gallery space, the message of your work needs to be quickly and easily understood , where there is no need for context to understand its content. With more than 60,000 people passing the window daily via public transport alone so this is a great opportunity for an artists to have their work seen. Please send us your idea and images of previous work to info@vfdalston.com .
For all the unveilings of the new windows we encourage people to have Private Views in the venue .
