Kevin Mark Trail, front man, and former vocalist with Mike Skinners The Streets, launches his fourth album, FREE I, playing songs from the album live for the first time at VFD.

Having toured the world as co-vocalist of The Streets, Kevin Mark Trail has an impressive list of collaborations under his belt including Nitin Sawhney, Estelle, MJ Cole and Rodney P, as well as supporting the likes of N.E.R.D, Massive Attack and Angie Stone.

Over the past 3 years Trail has lived between Australia and New Zealand, which has been a time of growth and reflection. Now is a new chapter, the new album FREE I is born.

FREE I is an electro soul project with a conscience. Born in reaction to the current state of society, the album is an account of the lessons learned from life experiences, exploring love, racism, identity, equality, the land, thought and freedom.
