Dark Fabrics Cabaret is bringing the black glamour of traditional fin-de-siècle cabaret back to the dark streets of Dalston this December. Singers, mimes, shadow puppetry, comedy, pole-dancing, taxidermy, drag and clowning are all descending upon Vogue Fabrics for one special night of performance. Hosted by Patricia Primarché, the hard-drinking, straight-talking, (not) straight, cheap drag queen, acts will include unique approaches to contemporary subjects and theatrical storytelling, showcasing performers Silk Worm, Professor Jack, Luke & Harry, Lady Nina and Charlie Tuesday Gates. This is not a traditional Christmas show. You will be greeted at the door by the veiled fortune-teller who shall hand you your tarot card. Which card you hold shall determine your fate during the night.
Upon descending the rickety stairs to Vogue's basement boudoir lair, dare to partake in a cup of 'Whatever the Fuck's in the Teapot' to put you in the mood before the show starts.
Doors at 7pm, show starts 7.30pm. Entry £5. Tickets can be pre-purchased here
