Not so popular: Bring their DIY nights to VFD
Not So Popular are a DIY collective, based in London. From running events to printing zines and throwing parties, they’re committed to providing a platform for emerging artists and encouraging people to be creative (whoever they may be). They currently run a regular cultural club night PEAKS that brings together a talk, exhibition and DJ set all under a theme. So far they’ve explored the role of the body in photography, noise music as a genre, creative placemaking, Balkan storytelling and DIY creativity. (notsopopular.com/peaks). They DJ and host parties under Sister Sounds DJs, championing feminist tendencies on the dancefloor.
Their next night is GARAGE GIRLS at VFD, playing bangerz, old school hits, pop classics and the female vocalists who made them great. From T2 to Tina Moore, Shola Ama, Kele le Roc, Mis-Teeq + beyond.
Join them at VFD in July 15th.

Artsy Reedy is all about New Romantics in the modern day, gender identity and how social aspects are changing amongst the scene.
It's an anagram of Starry-Eyed which holds significance for Bryony as it's all about naive expectations and ideas.
All the artwork featured is done by Bryony, unless specified.
The fanzine is available if anyone wants to order through the email.
