An evening of performance, music and words starring Rhyannon Styles Stuart Mckenzie and AH MER AH SU at VFD (Vogue Fabrics Dalston) Rhyannon Styles Newly appointed ELLE columnist and performance artist shares new work which transverses sound, image and dance. Now using the moniker 'Her Sperm' Rhyannon was previously in the bands 'DA'AT' and 'LadyNoise' who were featured in ID magazine shot by Nick Night. Rhyannon is a founder member and collaborator of ‘The LipSinkers’ who held a residency at East London’s Bistrotheque cabaret space for 7yrs and who continue to work from The Royal Vauxhall Tavern. Styles has danced with Kylie on ITV’s special ‘The Kylie Show’ and with the rock band ‘Arcade Fire’ on the Reflektor tour in 2014. She has appeared in music videos by Paloma Faith, Florence & The Machine and Suede. In 2009 & 2010 Rhyannon was nominated and shortlisted for ‘Best Alternative Performer’ by The London Cabaret Awards. STUART McKENZIE After studying at St Martins, Stuart Mckenzie was in Paris working as an assistant on a Vivienne Westwood Show when he was encouraged to get his stories on paper by a colleague. After a succession of musical projects, and cemented by a collaboration with seminal post-punk band the Raincoats, Mckenzie began to unleash his spoken word in front of audiences. Part poet and part raconteur, Mckenzie’s work has been published in Magma, Southbank Poetry, The Delinquent, AnOther Magazine, Envoi and Domestic Cherry amongst others and he is the 'featured poet' in Magma 63 'The Conversation Issue'.(launching end of October). He lives and works in London and is one third of the band Wild Daughter with James Jeanette and Amy Hurst.
