VFD presents: TALANOA at Glastonbury Festival

This year we’re programming a takeover of the NOMAD stage (Shangri-la, Glastonbury Festival)

Here you’ll find more info about the collectives involved and what the programme is about.

TALANOA - listen, learn, build, sustain. A Pacifika concept to come together to listen and exchange ideas

VFD[alston] is a queer arts space based in London. Founder Lyall Hakaraia has drawn on teachings from their Maori heritage to present a curated programme of talks, workshops and discussions on Diversity and Equity, the lack of representation, the inequality that persists in mainstream cultural programming and the actions that need to be taken to address this imbalance.

A space run with members of QTBIPOC and LGBTQIA+ grassroots organisations to have a dialogue with producers, curators, programmers and those who have lived experiences of inequality.
