This project is made in collaboration with @interislandcollective and @vfdalston and curated by the artists involved. The set decoration honours our ancestors and cultures with elements of plaiting, weaving, Tapa, dance, clothing and the iridescence of shell and feather.

Jacqueline Ennis-Cole (b. 1964 Manchester, UK) is a non - binary neuro-diverse artist, photographer, poet, essayist and curator whose practice addresses trauma, social conflict, and the ecological environment.

Her photographic work and art writings respond to the physicality of objects and the atmosphere of place. Her practice maps the spaces between authority and authorship and concealment and imagination.

The Outsiders Gallery/ We are in the hold(ing) sister by Ebun Sodipo

We are in the hold(ing), sister

Through a process of fragmentation, collage, and fabulation, Ebun devises softer, other-wise ways of imagining and speaking about the body, desire, archives, and the past. In dialogue with artists Em Williams, Ms Siren and Dextra Mandrake, this installation explores the intangibility of trans belonging and forms of trans people caring for themselves and each other.
